December 14th, 2008

You have seen the pro version of the Kogan Arora mobile and now let us check out the vanilla version of this cell phone. This beauty measures 108 x 64 x 14.8 mm but at 130 grams one would not call it a light cellphone. The 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery prmits this mobile to provide talk time up to 400 minutes and stand by time up to 300 hours (that is a whopping 13 days). This is a GSM Quad-band phone and also supports the UMTS tri-band global 3G network. It supports GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA 1.8 Mbit per sec & HSDPA 3.6 Mbit per sec.

As you will notice, the main difference is the camera that is not present in this version. Display resolution is 320 x 240 pixels on its 262,144 colors TFT display. This phone also boasts touch screen capabilities. It supports video playback in MPEG2, MPEG4, AVI, H.263 & H.264. Its music player supports MP3, AAC, WMA & WAV formats. Here is a FM radio included too. This mobile that works on the Android operating system also includes a microSD memory slot apart from the basic memory of 128 MB. Predictive text can be input on its full qwerty keyboard. You can surf the Internet with its HTML browser and for connecting with the outside world there are the Bluetooth (2.0) and miniUSB ports.
